Margaret Greer

Margaret Greer is a member of the Sri Aurobindo Association’s Proofreading Group for Collaboration, a journal of Integral Yoga.

Margaret was accepted as an Aurovilian by Mother in 1972. Originally she lived in Sincerity and worked in the Center kitchen, the Matrimandir workers’ camp. Later she moved to Equals One in Pondicherry, teaching and living there until late 1975. She spent the next 35 years in the States, always missing Auroville but unable to return.

In 2010, she began visiting Auroville every few years, staying up to three months each visit. Then in 2014 she began going to the yearly AUM Integral Yoga Conference, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. She says, “I’m eternally grateful to again be in contact with Auroville. It was a long drought.”
