Long time sadhaks on the path of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother hoping to begin an Arizona study group at our home in Prescott. Our interest is all things Integral Yoga, and the kinship between Jesus, Sri Aurobindo, and The Mother spoken here as well.

Savitri Circle of Boulder, Colorado
c/o Aubrey Hornsby and Shari Hindman
304-499-9665 • 303-944-8777 (cell) • email@example.com
Savitri Circle of Boulder Colorado continues the service that Lynda Lester provided through the Sri Aurobindo Circle of Boulder before she moved to be near the Lodi ashram community. The circle proceeds from its invocation in 1974 when Madhusudan Reddy from Hyderabad, Prabhat Poddar of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and Madas from the Sri Aurobindo Center for Progress in Los Angeles were invited to Boulder to participate in the World Invocation Day Conference, after which attendees decided to form the Boulder Sri Aurobindo Circle as a “point of light” for Sri Aurobindo’s vision in Boulder.
Savitri Circle is open to all those interested in Sri Aurobindo and the Mother as well as those already participating in the Integral Yoga or wanting to join in community group activities around the yoga. We host several activities that offer a variety of ways to participate. Activities include group meditation followed by a potluck dinner; a Savitri reading circle; and meditation and conversation, which provides the opportunity to meditate as a group followed by a predetermined discussion of a topic related to the yoga. The dates for each event are determined in the previous month and email notification is provided.
Occasionally, we offer a four-day Savitri retreat for intensive meditation and Savitri reading. Participants must be familiar and comfortable with Savitri to attend.
In addition, we host a Savitri reading circle online via Skype. Participants are part of a Skype conference call about once a week to read Savitri and meditate together. The sessions last 35 minutes.

We are about 10–12 families (including children from age 5 to 18). We meet monthly and the sole purpose of our study circle is to grow individuals on the path of Integral Yoga. A typical agenda of a meeting includes mantra chanting, children’s presentations, collective meditation with music, readings, and discussion. We conclude with a prayer and dinner.
During the other days, our activity for the “bliss card” through email helps us to progress in our inner sadhana. The bliss card has a quotation from Sri Aurobindo or rhe Mother with meaningful (visual) presentation of the message. This serves as a “thought for the day” for the inner mind. We send bliss cards to nonmembers too; please contact us if you wish to receive.
