Presentation:
"The Mother in Sri Aurobindo's Integral Yoga"

The Divine Mother is of supreme importance in the Integral Yoga.
Mirra Alfassa, a French woman who moved to India to collaborate with
Sri Aurobindo, worked with Sri Aurobindo to develop this yoga. She
was known as "the Mother" and regarded by Sri Aurobindo as a personal
incarnation of the Mahashakti.
This presentation, usually given in two parts, is a lively, two-hour
slide show that combines music with colorful images, fractals, and
digital art. The talk examines different forms the Divine Mother has
taken through the ages and discusses what is meant by the Divine Mother
as opposed to the Divine. It presents a biographical overview of the
Mother's (Mirra Alfassa's) life and yogic achievements, and looks at
difficulties some people have in understanding the Motherin both
her universal and personal aspects. Finally, it explains how surrender
to the Divine Mother is the key process of Integral Yoga.
