Airports

Sacramento is the preferred airport for AUM 2011; it is a 50-minute drive from Lodi.

Other airports in the area include San Francisco (2 hours), Oakland (1-1/2 hours), and San Jose (2 hours).

Shuttles and rental cars

AUM 2011 attendees are responsible for their own transportation to Lodi. Here are links to information on shuttle transportation and rental cars from the different airports:

We are planning to arrange a shared-cost shuttle van between the Sacramento airport and the Lodi Holiday Inn Express on Thursday, June 30, and Monday, July 4.  If you are interested in sharing a ride on this shuttle, please email angelo@auromere.com.  Approximate timings and rates for the shuttle will be posted as they become available.

Directions

You can drive to Lodi by taking Interstate freeway I-5 from the north (Sacramento) or south (Stockton).

Take the Lodi exit (exit 485) onto state Highway 12 east.

• Sri Aurobindo Sadhana Peetham is 2.9 miles, on the left.
