Sri Aurobindo Engineer's Association , Satya Zone had it's 1st meet on 4th, February 2001 at Matrubhaban, Cuttack. The meeting started with short meditation followed by introduction from Sri Akhandanand Kanungo. In his speech he proposed to have this type of meeting in all districts. of the zone. Sri Surendra Nath Nayak explained the purpose of the gathering. Prof. Chandra Sekhar Ratha ,the speaker of the day spoke on the subject 'The Psychology behind Pollution 'A large gathering heard him with rapt attention. Gadadhar Mishra conveyed thanks on behalf of All Orissa Sri Aurobindo Study Circle Committee. The meeting closed with the reading from Savitri by Dr. Shyama Kanungo. Sri Bainkuthanath Senapati presided over the meeting. Sri Bishnu Charan Panda and Sri Akhandanand Kanungo both being the convenor of Satya Zone arranged the meeting successfully.
