HARMONY ZONE, MATRUNIVAS, SAMBALPUR.

          As per the notice circulated earlier a meeting of the Managing Committee of the Zone was held at Matru Jyoti, Jharsuguda on 9/9/2000  after hoisting the Spiritual flag of India.

            Then the agenda for discussion was taken up.The Co-ordinator read out the minutes of the last Managing Committee meeting held at Matrukshetra, Dadar Nuapali, Sambalpur on 2-3 June,2001 and simultaneously the action taken report was placed.

            It was informed that the Schools located at Jharsuguda, Kuchinda, Kindra, Debgarh, Bonaigarh have started adopting common programme, viz, common text books, Syllabus, Question paper, etc. Their effort was appreciated.

                        With the grace of the Mother “Sangati” quartely news letter is continuing its publication by Sri Aurobindo Sadhana Mandir, Borgarh. All the MC members were requested to subscribe for the same. It was felt that it should be mentioned in this news letter that it is the mouth piece of the Zone. All the districts should mobilise at least 50 subscribers  for Sangati from each district.

            It was decided that the dues of the Zone are to be paid either to the Zonal Co-ordinator or Treasurer only against proper receipt. However, Sri D.C.Panda was authorised to receive the same at Sambalpur against receipt.

            It was informed that, the next State Integral School Workers Meet will be held at Matruvihar, Sundargarh from 19^th to 22^nd October, 2001 .Those of the district organisers who have not submitted the detailed programme for the current year, 2001 – 02 were requested to submit the same to the Zone at an early date.

            Sri S.N.Mishra, Zonal Co-ordinator, of Sri Aurobindo Engineers and Technical Group   suggested that the Jam tree near the Samadhi at Matrukhetra be immediately removed since this  becomes  a danger to the sacred Shrine. He will again pay visit to Matrukhestra to have a  spot assessment. Sri Sanatan Sahu, Zonal Co-ordinator, CUSAG informed that the Zonal Meet of the CUSAG will be held at Rourkela on 8-9 December,2001 during the Zonal Mahila Conference.

            The Zonal Co-ordinator presented the Budget for the ensuing 6^th Refresher Teachers’ Training Programme to be held at Matruvihar, Sundargarh.

            It was decided that Sri Amulya Kumar Sahu of Rajkhariar (Nuapada district) to be

co-opted as MC member of the Zone.        

The Ex-Treasurer of the Zone Sri UPodha was requested to update the accounts of the Zone till 31.3.2001 and get it audited by Sri S.K.Pattnaik, so that the audited papers could  be placed before the M.C. on 2.12.2001 to be held at Matru Khestra.

            The entire programme for the Referesher Training Programme of the Teachers was later on finalised. All the district organizers were requested to pay periodical visit to different Pathachakras and Integral Schools in their districts to encourage, guide and assist them in proper functioning and report compliance to the Zone and State Committee.

            The meeting ended with the observation of two minutes silence.
