The Foundation for World Education
and international projects

In recent years, the board of the Foundation for World Education (FWE) has made efforts to contact other Sri Aurobindo organizations to collaborate on projects. Some of the projects funded in Auroville receive funds from Stichting De Zaaier, a Dutch Foundation. We have worked together on Auroville education projects, environmental work, and community development as well as publications such as Georges Van Vrekhem's Beyond Man.

More recently we contributed to Auroville International-United Kingdom (AVI-UK) to support their grant application to the European Economic Community and the National Lotteries Commission Board for funding village education in the Auroville region.

The Gnostic Centre, a new educational group in New Delhi, India that publishes the journal Awakening Ray and runs a year-round schedule of educational workshops that teach ways to integrate Sri Aurobindo's yoga into daily life, work, and spiritual practice, received support for their developing library.
