The Retreat  

¨ Based on the practice of Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga, this retreat will be an experiential voyage of self discovery…...

¨ Through dialogue, meditation and introspection exercises, you will be guided, at least into the preliminary experiences of the “inner life”

¨ You will participate in the daily meditation in a spiritually uplifting ambience, amidst dense forests, green valleys and an incredible variety of wild flowers.

¨ Physically you will benefit from the daily Yoga and keep fit sessions.

¨ You will enjoy the guided treks through magnificent mountain forests and enchanting scenic splendour.

GENERAL

LODGING : Double and four bedded rooms.

 

TRAVEL:  Reach Van Niwas, Barah Pathar, Nainital directly.

 

STAY AT DELHI: Participants will bear their own expenses for stay in Delhi. Arrangements can be made at Sri Aurobindo Ashram - Delhi Branch.

 

ESSENTIAL KIT (Please bring minimum luggage)

Two bedsheets, one pillow, water-bottle, torch, raincoat or umbrella, lock, utensils (tumbler, plate, mug, spoon, bowl), personal medicines. Mattresses and blankets will be provided.

 

EXPENSES:   Camp Contribution      -           Rs. 1800/- per person

 

CANCELLATIONS: In case of cancellation, Rs. 400/- is non-refundable. The balance should be claimed within one month of the completion of camp. ORIGINAL RECEIPTS MUST BE RETURNED TO US FOR REFUND. No refund if cancellations are done in the last 15 days before the start of the camp. Cancellations are to be done in writing. SUBSTITUTES HOWEVER WILL BE PERMITTED WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGE on production of the original receipts of the substituted candidates.

  IMPORTANT (Please note carefully)  

  1. Enrolment on “First Come, First Served” basis.
  2. Book IMMEDIATELY to avoid disappointment due to heavy rush and limited seats
  3. We have very few single and double-bedded rooms. If you state clearly that you will have no problem in staying in 4-bedded rooms you will be given preference. Groups of 4 or more can easily stay thus.
  4. People with high blood pressure and other diseases who have problem with high altitude and/or living at the first and second floors, and also those needing special facilities, special toilets, food or care, SHOULD NOT APPLY.
  5. Any medical expenses will have to be borne by the camper themselves.
  6. During the camp, telephone messages for the campers will be taken but people will not be called to the phone. Campers should use the public telephones in town for personal calls.
  7. Nutritious & entirely vegetarian food. We seek cooperation in matters of food. Since people participate from many states & family backgrounds, it will not be possible for us to satisfy everybody's taste.
  8.  Please note: Smoking and consumption of gutka are not permitted on Ashram campus. Use of alcoholic drinks    and drugs is forbidden during the entire period of the camp.
