We encourage everyone who is attending AUM 98 to use the San Jose Airport. Airlines which serve San Jose Airport are American, Southwest, Reno Air, Alaska/Horizon, America West, Continental, Delta/Skywest, Mexicana, Northwest, TWA, and United.

Transportation to and from the San Jose Airport is included in your registration fee. (The trip takes about one hour.) Vans will be shuttling people every few hours on Friday, Saturday, Monday afternoon and Tuesday. We will attempt to  accomodate people who arrive at other airports (San Francisco or Oakland) but there may be delays in transportation in this case.

If you are driving, Aptos is between Watsonville and Santa Cruz. Here is a map of northern California (121K). A quick route from San Francisco is to take 101 south to Gilroy, then 152 west to the coast, then route 1 north to Aptos. From Los Angeles, take I5 north, then turn west on 152 to Gilroy, and follow the directions as above.
