Anand Reddy

Anand Reddy is a long-standing and distinguished resident of the Sri Aurobindo
Ashram, Pondicherry. He has traveled abroad extensively during the last
twenty years, giving seminars and lectures on Sri Aurobindo, the Mother,
and their teachings. At the Ashram he gives weekly classes on Savitri,
The Life Divine, and the Gita. He is also the director of
the Sri Aurobindo Center for Advanced Research.
His career in education spans several fields and a period of more than
thirty years. He is proficient in several Indian languages as well as French
and English, and in addition to his doctorate in Philosophy, he has done
work in poetry, social philosophy, and yoga. He has held administrative
posts in several different schools and institutes, including the Institute
of Human Study in Hyderabad and Aspiration School in Auroville. He is also
the editor of "New Race" journal.
