About AUM 2002 |
The Sri Aurobindo Center Southeast is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1993 to provide an opportunity for group meditations and gatherings. It soon evolved into a forum to exchange knowledge and experiences of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s and powers. Finally, it became a permanent study group so as to be a part of the Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s extended family of centers and groups. The Sri Aurobindo Center also took on the responsibility of promoting religious and cultural understanding based on peace, love, justice, health and harmony as well as friendship and goodwill among people of all religions. All of this was made possible by offering regular meditation sessions, residence facilities, book sales and newsletter publications.
